If you are still building your Diamond Dynasty roster for the postseason, September Spotlight Drop 4 is worth checking out. The latest content adds new Program cards, collection rewards, an Event, roster updates, and several ways to earn packs. It is also the final September Spotlight drop, so now is a good time to finish any collections you may have left.
For players who need extra currency while working through Diamond Dynasty content, MLB Stubs can also be useful for managing roster upgrades and other in-game purchases.
September Spotlight Drop 4 Program
The main attraction is the September Spotlight Program – Drop 4. As with the previous drops, you can progress through Moments and Missions to earn new Topps Now and Spotlight Series cards.
The four featured Program cards from the September drops are:
• Teoscar Hernández
• Adael Amador
• Brandon Lowe
• Riley Greene
Collecting these cards is important because they contribute to the final September Lightning Collection.
99 OVR Carter Jensen Lightning Reward
The biggest September Spotlight collection reward is 99 OVR Carter Jensen. The Kansas City Royals catcher had an impressive September, hitting eight home runs in 20 games while producing a .338/.407/.788 slash line.
Jensen also won American League Rookie of the Month and Player of the Month. That makes his Lightning card an attractive option for players looking for a strong catcher while also trying to complete their September collections.
If you are missing several cards, some players may choose to buy MLB Stubs and use them to fill roster or collection gaps rather than spending all of their time grinding.
September Retro Lightning Collection
There is another collection to work on during Drop 4. Collecting Spotlight Series cards from the four September Spotlight Packs allows you to progress toward two 99 OVR Retro Lightning rewards.
The collection milestones include:
• 8 collected cards: 99 OVR Brett Baty
• 13 collected cards: 99 OVR Lance Berkman
Berkman's reward is especially interesting for fans of classic Diamond Dynasty players. His card is based on his excellent September 2004 performance, when he posted a 1.081 OPS with the Houston Astros.
Regular Season Finale Event
The Regular Season Finale Event gives players another way to earn September Spotlight rewards without relying entirely on collections.
Your lineup can include players from:
• 2026 Postseason Teams
• Postseason Series
• The Show Classics
• Awards Series
• Live Series Common or Bronze cards
Wins and Event Missions provide XP and September Spotlight Packs from Drops 1 through 4. The Event Program also includes a September Spotlight Any Pack, which can be useful when you are missing a particular collection card.
For players trying to stretch their Diamond Dynasty budget, cheap MLB Stubs may sound appealing, but it is still worth checking your Programs, Events, and earned packs first.
Final Roster Update and Chase Pack 29
Drop 4 arrives alongside the final regular-season roster update. More than 700 player attributes have been adjusted, with new Diamond and Gold players joining the pool.
Chase Pack 29 is another highlight. It gives players a chance to pull a 99 OVR Awards Series Mike Trout, adding another high-end card to the current Diamond Dynasty pool.
Best Way to Approach Drop 4
If you want to get the most from the update, start with the September Spotlight Moments and Missions. Collect the Program cards from all four drops, then check your progress toward Carter Jensen and the Retro Lightning rewards.
After that, play the Regular Season Finale Event to earn additional packs and XP. This approach lets you work toward several rewards at the same time instead of focusing on only one collection.
Players who are looking for additional roster-building options can also browse MLB 26 Stubs for sale, and the new September content itself provides plenty of opportunities to earn cards through normal gameplay.
